It is 2007 when Silaa Coffee starts to produce their first coffee.
Seedlings are given/sold to farmers in neighboring villages to join the production of coffee. Cooperating farmers are trained in organic practices, harvesting techniques for coffee and the best ways to store the cherries (from which the coffee bean comes).
It has not been easy and we have invested many years of research to find the best coffee plant for the type of climate, soils and altitude of our region. We also invest in top of the line technology to produce our premium organic coffee. Northern Thai coffee is increasingly praised for its quality and taste.
Since the start we control all steps of the process to make sure you get the coffee quality you want. As one of the pioneer companies in Northern Thailand we look forward to seeing Thai Arabica Premium Coffee known for its taste throughout the world.
